PURESHIELD INSURANCE SERVICE POLICY & IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES
Last Updated: September 2026
PureShield Insurance is committed to providing responsive, professional, transparent insurance service. This Service Policy explains how requests, communications, quotes, policy changes, renewals, claims assistance, documents, online services, and other interactions with PureShield are handled.
This policy is intended to establish clear expectations and reduce misunderstandings. It does not modify the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, or requirements of any insurance policy, binder, application, endorsement, carrier agreement, or other insurance contract.
1. NO COVERAGE IS CREATED BY USING THIS WEBSITE
Use of the PureShield website, client portal, forms, email, text messaging, telephone, chat, document upload, quote request, service request, or other communication method does not by itself create, bind, extend, modify, renew, cancel, or reinstate insurance coverage.
Insurance coverage is effective only when it has been properly approved and bound by the applicable insurance carrier or other authorized party and confirmation has been provided.
Do not rely on a submitted request as evidence that coverage exists or has changed.
2. REQUESTS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY EFFECTIVE
Requests involving insurance policies may include:
- Adding or removing vehicles
- Adding or removing drivers
- Adding or removing locations
- Changing insured property
- Changing limits or deductibles
- Adding endorsements
- Requesting additional insured status
- Requesting waiver of subrogation
- Requesting certificates of insurance
- Changing business operations
- Changing mailing or garaging addresses
- Cancelling coverage
- Reinstating coverage
- Changing payment arrangements
- Modifying any other policy information
A request submitted to PureShield is only a request for review and processing.
No requested change should be considered effective until PureShield or the applicable insurance carrier provides confirmation.
Clients should not assume that coverage has been changed simply because a request was received.
3. PURESHIELD DOES NOT HAVE AUTHORITY TO OVERRIDE CARRIERS
Insurance carriers control matters including:
- Underwriting
- Eligibility
- Pricing
- Coverage availability
- Policy issuance
- Binding authority where applicable
- Inspections
- Audits
- Billing
- Cancellation
- Nonrenewal
- Reinstatement
- Claims decisions
- Claim payments
- Policy wording
- Endorsements
- Renewal terms
PureShield may assist, advocate, communicate, and facilitate, but cannot guarantee that an insurance carrier will approve a request or take a particular action.
4. QUOTES ARE NOT GUARANTEES OF COVERAGE
Insurance quotes are estimates based on information available at the time they are prepared.
Quotes may change because of:
- Underwriting review
- Updated information
- Carrier rate changes
- Inspection results
- Loss history
- Motor vehicle records
- Credit-based insurance information where permitted
- Payroll or sales information
- Property characteristics
- Driver information
- Vehicle information
- Business operations
- Carrier eligibility rules
- Missing or inaccurate information
- Final carrier review
A quote is not an insurance policy, binder, or guarantee of coverage.
Coverage is not effective until properly bound and confirmed.
5. CLIENT APPROVAL DOES NOT EQUAL BINDING
A client may approve or decline a quote, proposal, renewal option, or other insurance option through the PureShield website, client portal, email, electronic form, or another approved communication method.
Client approval means the client is requesting that PureShield proceed with the selected option.
Client approval alone does not mean that coverage has been bound.
Coverage becomes effective only after all carrier requirements have been satisfied and binding has been confirmed.
6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY TO REVIEW DOCUMENTS
Clients are responsible for reviewing all policies, endorsements, declarations, certificates, applications, renewal documents, invoices, notices, and other insurance documents.
Clients should verify information including:
- Named insured
- Address
- Business name
- Drivers
- Vehicles
- Property
- Locations
- Coverage limits
- Deductibles
- Policy period
- Classification
- Payroll
- Sales
- Operations
- Additional insureds
- Mortgagees
- Lenders
- Loss payees
If anything appears incorrect or incomplete, the client should notify PureShield promptly.
Failure to review documents does not automatically make PureShield responsible for errors or omissions that could reasonably have been identified by reviewing the documents provided.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION
Insurance pricing, eligibility, and coverage decisions depend on the information provided to PureShield and insurance carriers.
Clients are responsible for providing complete, current, and accurate information.
Clients must promptly report material changes, including changes involving:
- Drivers
- Vehicles
- Property
- Business operations
- Ownership
- Employees
- Payroll
- Revenue
- Locations
- Equipment
- Claims
- Occupancy
- Usage
- Transportation activity
- Construction
- Vacancies
- Security systems
- Licenses
- Contracts
- Other material exposures
Incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or outdated information may affect coverage, premiums, eligibility, claims, or policy validity.
8. RENEWALS ARE NOT GUARANTEED
PureShield may provide reminders and assistance with policy renewals.
However, renewal is not guaranteed.
Carriers may:
- Change rates
- Change underwriting requirements
- Change coverage
- Modify deductibles
- Require inspections
- Require updated information
- Decline renewal
- Withdraw from a market
- Change eligibility
- Change payment requirements
Clients remain responsible for reviewing renewal notices and responding to requests for information in a timely manner.
9. EXPIRATION DATES REMAIN THE CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY
PureShield may provide reminders regarding upcoming expirations and renewals.
However, clients should independently monitor their policy expiration dates.
A failure to receive a reminder from PureShield does not extend a policy, prevent expiration, or guarantee continued coverage.
10. CANCELLATIONS AND NONPAYMENT
Insurance carriers may cancel or nonrenew coverage for reasons permitted by the policy and applicable law.
Clients are responsible for paying premiums by the required due dates.
Contacting PureShield about a billing issue does not automatically stop:
- Cancellation
- Nonrenewal
- Late fees
- Finance charges
- Payment deadlines
- Reinstatement requirements
If a client receives a cancellation, nonrenewal, lapse, or nonpayment notice, the client should contact PureShield and the applicable carrier immediately.
11. CLAIMS
PureShield may assist clients with locating carrier claims information and understanding the reporting process.
PureShield does not control:
- Claim investigations
- Coverage determinations
- Adjuster assignments
- Liability determinations
- Settlement amounts
- Repair decisions
- Payment timing
- Claim denials
Those decisions are made by the applicable insurance carrier or claims administrator.
Clients should report losses promptly and comply with all carrier requirements.
In an emergency involving injury, danger, fire, crime, or immediate property damage, contact emergency services first.
12. CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
Certificates of insurance are issued as evidence of coverage.
A certificate does not:
- Create coverage
- Expand coverage
- Modify coverage
- Amend an insurance policy
- Create rights not provided by the policy
Requests for special wording or contractual insurance requirements may require carrier approval and endorsements.
PureShield cannot certify coverage that does not exist.
13. CONTRACT REVIEW
PureShield may review insurance requirements contained in leases, contracts, vendor agreements, loan agreements, construction agreements, or other documents as a courtesy.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, PureShield does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that an insurance program satisfies every contractual obligation.
Clients should consult qualified legal counsel regarding contractual obligations.
14. NO LEGAL, TAX, ACCOUNTING, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE
PureShield provides insurance-related services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information provided by PureShield is not intended as:
- Legal advice
- Tax advice
- Accounting advice
- Investment advice
- Financial planning advice
Clients should consult appropriately licensed professionals regarding those matters.
15. COVERAGE DISCUSSIONS ARE GENERAL IN NATURE
Descriptions of insurance products on this website are general summaries.
Actual insurance coverage is governed exclusively by the terms, conditions, definitions, limitations, exclusions, endorsements, and declarations contained in the issued insurance policy.
If website information conflicts with an insurance policy, the policy governs.
16. NO GUARANTEE OF LOWEST PRICE OR BEST COVERAGE
PureShield may obtain quotes from multiple insurance markets.
PureShield does not guarantee:
- The lowest available price in the marketplace
- Access to every insurance carrier
- The broadest coverage available anywhere
- That another broker or insurer could not obtain different terms
Our goal is to help clients identify appropriate options based on available markets and the information provided.
17. CARRIER AVAILABILITY
PureShield’s access to insurance carriers may change at any time.
The availability of a carrier, product, program, state, class of business, or coverage shown on the website does not guarantee that the carrier will accept a particular risk.
18. COMMUNICATIONS
PureShield may communicate with clients through:
- Telephone
- SMS/text
- Client portal
- Website forms
- Electronic document delivery
- Carrier systems
- Other approved communication methods
Clients are responsible for maintaining current contact information.
PureShield is not responsible for communications that cannot be delivered because of:
- Incorrect contact information
- Spam filtering
- Full inboxes
- Carrier blocking
- Telephone service problems
- Internet failures
- Device issues
- Third-party system failures
19. ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS
Electronic documents may be made available through email, portal access, secure links, or carrier platforms.
Clients are responsible for maintaining access to their accounts and devices.
Clients should not share usernames, passwords, or authentication credentials.
20. PORTAL SECURITY
Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Clients should immediately notify PureShield if they believe their account has been compromised.
PureShield may suspend or restrict portal access when necessary to protect client information or system security.
21. CYBERSECURITY
PureShield uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect client information.
However, no internet-connected system, email system, website, portal, or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Clients should avoid sending highly sensitive information through unsecured email or other unsecured channels.
22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
PureShield may use or link to third-party services, including:
- Insurance carrier websites
- Payment processors
- E-signature providers
- Client portals
- Rating systems
- Document services
- Claims systems
- Premium finance companies
PureShield does not control the availability, security, policies, or performance of independent third-party systems.
23. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
PureShield does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its website or online systems.
Systems may become temporarily unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Software issues
- Hosting interruptions
- Cybersecurity events
- Internet outages
- Third-party failures
- Events outside PureShield’s reasonable control
Do not rely solely on the website for urgent insurance matters.
24. RESPONSE TIMES
PureShield strives to respond to routine client communications within one business day.
This is a service goal, not a guarantee.
Actual response and completion times may depend on:
- Carrier availability
- Underwriting
- Documentation
- Third-party systems
- Complexity of the request
- Volume
- Holidays
- Emergencies
- Events outside PureShield’s reasonable control
25. EMERGENCY REQUESTS
The phrase “24/7” means clients may contact or submit information to PureShield at any time.
It does not mean every carrier, underwriter, claims representative, billing department, or third-party service is available 24 hours per day.
Some requests cannot be completed outside normal business hours.
26. NO ASSUMPTION OF COVERAGE
Clients should never assume that coverage exists because:
- A form was submitted
- A voicemail was left
- An email was sent
- A text was sent
- A portal request was created
- A payment was attempted
- A quote was approved
- An application was completed
Coverage requires proper carrier authorization and confirmation.
27. FRAUD AND MISREPRESENTATION
PureShield reserves the right to decline or terminate service where legally permitted if a person provides fraudulent, misleading, falsified, or intentionally incomplete information.
Insurance fraud may also be reported to insurance carriers or appropriate authorities when required or permitted by law.
28. ABUSIVE OR THREATENING CONDUCT
PureShield is committed to respectful service.
We reserve the right, where legally permitted, to restrict communication methods or discontinue an agency relationship because of:
- Threats
- Harassment
- Abuse
- Fraud
- Discrimination
- Repeated inappropriate conduct
- Threats against employees, agents, carriers, or business partners
29. ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS
PureShield strives to provide accurate information.
However, typographical, clerical, technical, administrative, or transmission errors may occasionally occur.
PureShield reserves the right to correct errors when discovered.
A website error or clerical mistake does not create insurance coverage that was not otherwise issued by an authorized insurance carrier.
30. NO WAIVER
A failure by PureShield to enforce any portion of this Service Policy in a particular situation does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision.
31. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
PureShield may update this Service Policy periodically.
The current version will be posted on the website with the applicable revision date.
Continued use of PureShield’s website or services after an update may be subject to the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
32. INSURANCE POLICY CONTROLS
Nothing contained on this website should be interpreted as replacing an insurance contract.
If there is any inconsistency between website content and the actual insurance policy, the insurance policy and applicable carrier documentation control.
OUR SERVICE COMMITMENT
These disclosures do not change the standard we hold ourselves to.
PureShield’s goal is to provide:
Clear communication.
Responsive service.
Honest guidance.
Professional accountability.
We want clients to know who to contact, what happens next, and where their insurance stands.
Protection never clocks out.
